  26. I can see your problem a mile away... IDE is not buffered therefore you can
  27. only have a short cable... Your 1m cable is probably losing data like a
  28. leaking pipe.

  46. Like I said it's probably losing a lot of data... And probably the CD-ROM
  47. is taking a while to warm up...

  52. I don't think it's either... U may also want to get Atapi.device from
  53. somewhere... It allows connection of ATAPI CD-ROMS which may have been
  54. one of the causes of your problems...

  56. Why not get the SCSI interface for the blizzard and get a scsi cd?
  57. It's buffered so you can have your leads up to 4m long...
